I've loved computers ever since I saw a rather pretty program on our old BBC computer, studying programming since early days in high school all the way up into university. I have a habit of tinkering with code when there's nothing else to do, that has resulted in the occasional pleasent surprise breakthrough in optimisation, or functionality.

I'm still based in my home city of Edinburgh, kinda centralised here, though when I think back it occurs to me that I've been to a fair few different places in my time on this little planet.
